(From the Wisconsin State Journal)

Culver’s of Sauk City will celebrate its 25th anniversary by donating 10 percent of that restaurant's sales on July 15 to the Good Neighbor Clinic, a nonprofit organization in Prairie du Sac.

Later this year when a new headquarters is completed, Culver Franchising System will donate its current headquarters building at 540 Water St. in Prairie du Sac for the Ruth Culver Community Library, in honor of the franchise company’s co-founder who died last year.

Known for its ButterBurgers and custard, the first Culver’s opened in Sauk City [Wisconsin] on July 18, 1984. Since then, the restaurant chain has expanded to more than 400 Culver’s restaurants in 17 states.

Check out these great snaps from Bratfest 2009 in Madison!

A big thank you to Drew for sending in these great pictures. Be sure to check out the pallet of sour kraut, the huge tents for condiments and Bratfest gear. Our favorite is the brat and cheese wedge necklace/lei. Also, take a peak at the pics of Madison's own Trinity James and Big Bad performing on the Bratfest stage!

Be sure to visit Bratfest.com and plan to attend in 2010.

We love lakes in Wisconsin, so much that we make lakes, like the one at Lake George!

"Here's the way we celebrate Mother's Day in western Wisconsin" says Jeff who sent in these photos of a Mother's Day party at Lake George outside of Spring Valley.

Wisconsin Words of Wisdom: Call your mom and tell her you love her.

Here's a standard for everyone who visits a pumpkin patch in Wisconsin during the fall-a PUMPKIN CANNON.
This is a more professional version...smaller (home made versions) can be seen in backyards and car trunks throughout the state.

Thanks to Mike from Kenosha who sent us this photo from Washington Island in Dodge county. The local eatery serves Fresh Lawyers, which was a little concerning to him as he is a legal expert himself.

If you ever visit Wisconsin, you have to go party with Drew in Oregon. This guy know where all the hot Wisconsin spots are. Check out this kitty litter confection that was offered up as a dessert at a party. Yep, I had to look twice before realizing it was food and not just a cat box on a kitchen table.
Thanks for the pic, Drew!
