Rare all-white buck photographed near Port Washington [photo]

Amy Mattson of Mequon was driving south of Port Washington this month when she spied an all-white buck standing in a field.
The nose of the 6-point buck appears to be pink in the photos that she and a friend shot.

Deer runs through window into Janesville motel room [photo]

Police had to help remove a 170-pound white-tailed deer that crashed into a Janesville motel.
Officers were called Thursday morning after people saw a male deer running around a parking lot and ramming into cars at a Target store. The deer then ran across a highway, vaulted through a closed, ground-level window and entered a room at a Super 8 Motel.
The manager says the room was empty.
Authorities removed the deer shortly before noon.

Two Deer Break Through Glass Doors to Watch Bucks Game in Menomonie Pub

Two deer broke through the glass doors of the Stout Ale House in Menomonie on Sunday while the Milwaukee Bucks were in the middle of their playoff game on TV.
The deer were subdued and released outside by customers and management.
FEAR THE DEER!
