Greenfield teen's Facebook post for drugs leads to arrest

Posted on October 14, 2011

A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged with drug possession after a friend posted on the teen's Facebook page that he needed drugs.

A police officer also recognized the two from a video of a drug party in June.

A Greenfield police officer was patrolling in his car Aug. 30 when he noticed two men he recognized from his assignment as a police school liaison officer at Greenfield High School. Earlier in the day, he had seen one of them post a statement on the other's Facebook page that indicated he wanted drugs. The teen behind the page, Justin J. Cervera, had replied, asking the guy to call him.

The same officer had previously seen a video of the two apparently smoking marijuana with other juveniles in June 2011, called "Reefer party for my birthday."

He stopped the two on the street and Cervera emptied his pockets, revealing a white prescription bottle with drugs. Cervera was arrested and was charged Thursday with possession of narcotics and marijuana. He faces up to four years in prison and $11,000 in fines.

The settings on the teens' Facebook pages have since been changed so most information, including pictures and videos, are private.

Green Bay Woman Finds $280K of Drugs in Vacuum

Posted on April 21, 2011

A Green Bay, Wis., woman opened a Christmas present from her children to find a refurbished vacuum - and a load of drugs.

Authorities say the woman found 2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and 2.2 pounds of cocaine shrink wrapped inside the box. Sheriff's officials estimate the drugs' street value at about $280,000.

Lt. David Poteat tells the Green Bay Press-Gazette that a smuggler likely put the drugs in the box before it was shipped from the Juarez, Mexico, area, where it had been reconditioned.

Poteat says no one noticed anything, including the department store where it was purchased, until the woman opened the package.

...This was from Januar, but somehow it never hit our radar... until now. CRAZY!

Muskego drug dealer texts trooper’s grandson and then arrested

Posted on December 21, 2010

An alleged drug dealer near Milwaukee got quite a surprise after he dialed a wrong number. Authorities said a 19-year-old Muskego man thought he was calling a customer on Sunday night when he sent a text message that read, “You want to buy some hash?”

A 10-year-old boy received the message and showed it to his grandfather, who happens to be a state trooper. The trooper reported it to his colleagues, who told the dealer they were interested in buying the drugs and arranged a purchase.

The dealer showed up at an agreed-upon place, but he left when a buyer failed to appear. Troopers then followed the man home and arrested him.

Legally stoned: Synthetic pot called Flash-II hits Wisconsin

Posted on May 19, 2010

Canabis

Looks like all of the cool dudes in Wisconsin are smoking Flash-II, a marijuana-like product marketed as herbal incense.

While Flash-II contains no THC, the active agent in marijuana (reefer, weed, pot, etc...) it does have a synthetic compound which mimics the effects of THC.
