Look-alike contest win surprises Howard mom, daughter

Howard residents Lori LeBoeuf and her mother, Dolores Knier, know they look similar, but neither knew they were entered in a contest to prove it.
LeBoeuf's husband, Don, entered the pair in the 2011 Press-Gazette mother-daughter look-alike contest on the sly, and when the winning duo found out, their mutual surprise mirrored their resemblance.
The resemblance, which became more pronounced as LeBoeuf became an adult, helped them beat out 80 other participating look-alike teams and win a mother-daughter pendant valued at $300.
