Yes, those are sausages pressed into the shape of beer bottles with labels on them. They were super squishy, too.

The man who was running as the Italian Sausage in the Milwaukee Brewer's opening day relay tells his side of the story.
"It's not nearly as bad as it looks, the clip made it look like I'd been leveled like Aaron Rogers in the Packers season last year, and it's just not true." said racing Italian Sausage Kevin Carboni.

Racing Sausage Collides with Police Motorcycle

The sausage was racing down Layton Avenue when it collided with a police motorcycle that was acting as an escort.
The Italian Sausage made it through the ordeal unscathed.
