Watertown student wins PBS kids writing contest

Ella Walker, daughter of Robin and Jeremy Walker, of Watertown, has won a judges' award in the kindergarten category of the local PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest for her originally written and illustrated story “The Button on My Arm.”

Watertown candle company featured on The Food Network

Food Network camera crews visited The Hat Creek Candle Company in Watertown on Tuesday.

The local business makes life-like cookies from wax that have the fragrance of a real cookie when melted. The Hat Creek Candle Company and their life-like cookies will be featured on the show "Unwrapped."
