Posted on May 18, 2011

Today McDonald's celebrated 25,000 Big Macs served. To just one man.

It's taken Wisconsin man Don Gorske 39 years to reach this auspicious milestone. He first started eating McDonald's iconic burgers on May 17, 1972, and since then, only eight days have passed without Gorske downing a Big Mac; and on many days he eats two.

Gorske, 57, who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, began his habit at age 18.

Whoopee! McFarland juggler becomes the king of fake flatulence

Posted on January 16, 2011

A McFarland comedian and juggler broke a Guinness world record on Saturday night for faking flatulence.

“I was triumphant!” said Josh Casey, who broke the record by sitting on 30 whoopee cushions in 30 seconds.

He performed the feat in front of an enthusiastic crowd of about 1,300 during the 47th Annual Madfest Juggling Extravaganza at Union Theater.

Casey, 35, broke the previous record by three. Each whoopee cushion was placed on a chair, and the chairs were lined up 20 centimeters apart. Casey had to sit on them as fast as he could, and each one had to make a sound.
