Empty beer kegs and frozen pizza were the targets in two thefts in Madison earlier this month.

The Madison Police Department said 10 empty beer kegs were taken Jan. 11 from a gated storage area outside the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery, 420 Gammon Place on the far west side.

Surveillance video showed two men pulled up in a white Dodge Ram pickup truck, tossed the kegs into the back of the pickup and drove off.

On Jan. 15, someone broke into an Orv's Pizza delivery truck, with 12 cases of frozen pizza valued at $600 stolen from the truck.

"The pizzas included four cases of Gino's deep dish pizza, six cases of Gino's thin crust pizza and two cases of Lombardi's sausage pizza," said police spokesman Joel DeSpain.
