Wisconsin Spelling Bee Champ to Compete in Washington

Andrew Grose of Sheboygan knows what pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is -- and how to spell it, too. The 12-year-old is in Washington, D.C., to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Andrew, a seventh-grader at Lake Country Academy, will be the only Wisconsin representative. ESPN will air the preliminary rounds at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday [May 27] and the semifinals at 9 a.m. Thursday [May 28]. ABC will air the finals at 7 p.m. Thursday [May 28].
